I have dealth with a LOT of different Used Cars sale lots and managers since arriving here in 1993. While there is always a lot of concern that when you actually DO decide you like a vehicle and purchase it, that if something is wrong with it (Within Reason) that the dealership will taek responsibility for any concerns or issues especially if they were discussed during the sale with your sales agent. I had a few things thta were not working when I bought my 2015 6.7 lifted Diesel there. I needed to have a reliable truck to tow my 39ft camper however the tow mirrors would work, intermittently and then some times one side wouldn't work. the other main issue was my backup Camera was not working either. Over the cousre of the last 3 months or so I was able to continue working with them on the issues and at the end of the day, new mirrors were ordered, new back up camera was ordered and fixed. He even knocked an intial grand off the purchase price! Ask for Mr. Tyler...Stand up guy! Thx Man!

I was very satisfied with the response and integrity that my sales person ,Tyler showed with the swift response in corrections to my automobile, after being shone the problem that I was having, he made the purchasing my 2015 Murano, so easy and without hassle.

I was scrolling different car websites and came across Imports of Tidewaters website, and seen the CAR! I was excited about it, and decided to go see the car in person the next day. When I arrived on the lot, I was greeted by the manager Mr. Tyler Flaxman. He was pleasant from the start. He wasn’t pushy for the sell at all. He was very accommodating! He allowed me to test drive the vehicle. Went to his office, and he gave me a sweet deal on it! I couldn’t resist! Even though the car had high mileage, it was Mr. Tyler’s family oriented treatment and willingness to make me feel comfortable and assured with this car, that sealed the deal for me. He not only covered the car for the normal 30 days, but he also “sweetened” the deal with more coverage! He was up front, I didn’t pick up any underlining “slick salesman” talk from him which I definitely appreciated! I consider him a friend already! I have recommended him to my coworkers. Ask for Mr. Tyler!!

I got my car here for a great price. However, I bought it with what the dealership described as a “dead battery” and they said they would buy me a new one. They stuck to their word, but I found out I didn’t need one after having to drive to Interstate battery to get it tested. Imports of Tidewater then told me to go to a mom & pop place to get my car looked at. That mechanic said that the car’s key fob wasn’t communicating with the car which is the reason key fob wasn’t working and the interior locks weren’t working. The mechanic said that a VW dealership needed to look at it. This mechanic called Imports of Tidewater after telling me that and they told them to tell me to call a key fob guy they know. So I called, just after waiting at the mechanic for 4 hours with getting nowhere. Their key fob guy answered and asked me what was going on and I told him in detail. He then said don’t bring it to him unless I wanted to waste $100 because he couldn’t fix my interior locks, only the key fob. So at this point I’m extremely frustrated. I drove straight to Imports of Tidewater to get an explanation. I’m not going to mention the name of who coordinated everything up to this point, but if you’re reading this, you know who you are and please don’t take this personally, but as constructive criticism. So back to the story, I went through their double doors to find out what the hell was going on with my car because I was nervous I just bought a lemon. I started talking to the guy who gave me the run around that whole time and unfortunately, I got short with him. However, I never disrespected him. Mike stepped in to save the day. He told me he knows a guy who specializes in VW’s and he would find out the problem. So a few more days went by without knowing what was exactly was wrong my car. Mind you, I can’t drive the car. So I had to inconvenience my wife by having to drive her car. So Mike called me back after about a few days and tells me that the guy figured it out but he was locked out from fixing the issue that only a VW dealership could fix it. Mike asked me to go ahead and schedule an appointment. However, due to Covid the closest dealership was all booked up for awhile. So I called and told Mike and he said he knows somebody at another dealership that could get me a quicker appointment. So I waited a few days for that. I got impatient after a week and asked Mike if I could just schedule it. I did and he was ok with it. I finally got the car into a VW dealership after a month from buying the car. Imports of Tidewater paid for the repairs 100% and the car has ran fine every since. Now who’s fault is buying a car that has to be jumped every time? Mine! I take 100% responsibility for making that dumb decision. However, I couldn’t find that car in this area anywhere, so I took a risk. A big one! Now would I have done it over again? Absolutely! I purchased the car here locally, from a small locally owned business, at a great price. Was this one of those rare unforeseen situations? I definitely think so. I get it, Imports of Tidewater needs to make money and a VW dealership charges too much money for repairs. I get it, I really do! But my repairs could have gotten done a lot faster, even with the coronavirus messing everything up. Good luck on your next car purchase.

Awesome service! We called about 20 min before getting there. Tyler had the car washed and ready for a test drive as we pulled in. Paperwork was super simple and didn’t take more than 30 min. We were in and out with a new to us car in about an hour. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle.

I recently bought my dream car a 2019 ford mustang gt. I was searching through every dealership that I could think of but I couldn't find the exact car I wanted. Then I came across Imports of Tidewater. Not only did they have the car of my dreams but they were the nicest people I have met at a dealership. The whole process took about 2 hours and I was driving off the lot with my car. They even went on to purchase an extra key and a new shifter because a piece of the current one was broken at no extra charge. I would definitely recommend anyone going to them to purchase a vehicle. Just purchased my 2016 Audi A3, it was a great experience. Michael was so honest and helpful. I didn’t get that pressured feeling i get when i go to other dealerships. It was a smooth transaction.
